BREAKING NEWS —

A major spoiler was announced in the final moments of Day of the Doctor (the Dr. Who 50th Anniversary Special) as the 12 previous incarnations of the Time Lord converged on Gallifrey.

In addition to a brief appearance by 12th Doctor Peter Capaldi, it was revealed that the 13th (and final?) regeneration would be embodied by Sleepy Hollow co-star Orlando Jones, the first person of color to ever take on the role.

In a brief statement provided by the BBC Jones said only:

Dr. Who is my slave name. From now on I will be referred to as Dr. X.
